Description

The Heartsaver First-aid/CPR/AED class covers FIRST-AID/CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants. the following topics: bleeding control, seizures, epi pen use, allergic reactions, snake bites, broken bones, poisoning, CPR for adults, children, and infants, choke-saving, and other life-threatening emergencies. This course is for your original certification, renewing, or rectification and is considered a basic first-aid class. Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for civilians with absolutely no medical training whatsoever or anyone who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED used to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please note: There will be two, 3 hour classes. The 1st class will be online, the 2nd class will be in-person at 381 High Ridge Road, Stamford (Rippowam Middle School). Attendance at both sessions is required for course completion.
