Description

It is estimated that 4.6 million pounds of wrapping paper is produced each year just in the United States and we send about 2.3 million pounds of it to the landfills that same year. In this 3-week series, we'll discuss the impacts of the gift-wrapping industry and what we can do differently in our daily lives to help curb the problem. Each session we'll create our own unique, sustainable gift wrapping utilizing natural and recycled materials. Whenever possible, we will spend a portion of the time exploring Bartlett's grounds and gathering fun materials to utilize in our projects. Series of 3 classes: dates will be 10/26/24, 11/16/24, and 12/07/24)
