This dynamic course covers information about the Security Industry, how to be a Security Officer, and job exploration. Connecticut laws will be reviewed, pertaining to: the security industry, self defense and the use of force, and citizen’s arrest. In addition, you will learn about the use of force continuum, fire safety, the history of security, work place violence, terrorism, communication skills, and more.

Get your Security Officer License training and certification all in one place! If you would like to have me process your paperwork, bring to class your drivers license or State ID (papers of naturalization, passport , or green card if applicable), check or money order for the application fee in the amount of $100 made out to Treasurer State of CT, a credit or debit card to pay the $91 fee for state and federal background check, $40 for fingerprinting and your photo, and $80 cash for me to process the application. *You also have the option of processing this paperwork yourself.*
